Achieving optimum results with Sikkens Cetol HLS Range
In this video, we cover Sikkens Cetol HLS plus (available in Australia as Cetol HLSe). Cetol HLSe is a low build, solvent-based highly translucent exterior woodstain which can be used as a base coat on doors and windows. It is also the perfect product to choose as an attractive, practical finish coat on soffits, fascias, cladding and decking.
Like all Sikkens Cetol translucent woodstains, Cetol HLSe is formulated to colour and protect interior and exterior hardwood and softwood surfaces while showing the beauty of the grain. With low viscocity Cetol HLSe provides good penetration and a flexible finish that will prevent cracking, flaking and peeling in the long term.
Cetol HLSe also work superbly as a base coat, promoting adhesion to the substrate. Combine a base coat of Cetol HLSe with two coats of UV resisting Cetol Filter 7 plus, Cetol Supernatural, or Cetol TGL Gloss for a superb finish that delivers optimum protection on exterior vertical wooden surfaces such as entry doors and windows.
A base coat of Cetol HLSe can also be combined with two coats of durable Cetol Deck or Cetol Deck Slip Resistant on exterior horizontal and walk-on surfaces such as handrails, decks and steps.
